Running Events

• Do you have an idea for an Event you would like to run?
  
  We are looking for enthusiastic and charismatic people who would like to run events for the store. If you can draw enough people to your event you could even earn store credit.
  
  Events include, but are not limited to Viewings, Workshops, Panels, Cafés, Games and Contests. The event should be related to Anime, Video games or Japanese Pop Culture.
  
  The event should be free, or cost of materials (in the case of workshops). We can discuss an entry fee if you want to run a contest or tournament.
  
  You could earn $20 or more in store credit based on how we think the event went. To earn store credit the event should run at least 2 hours, at least 10 people show up for it, and stay for at least 75% of the time. Also if there are any complaints about the event or assault (physically, verbally, or sexually), you may be exempted from earning store credit and may be banned from running events in the future. You will be responsible for the back room and any damage to anything belonging to the store with in the back room.
  
  We can provide some materials including tables and chairs, TV with HDMI hookups, DVD player, Anime for viewing, Art supplies (such as paper, pencils, and markers), and light refreshments (tea, lemonade, cookies, or crackers). We will also post the event on Facebook, the website and in store. Any additional advertising is up to you to do.
